My daughter wrestles in high school, and we were looking for a good place for her to train in the off-season. Rising Tide has been perfect. The coaches are knowledgeable, down-to-earth, and genuinely care about helping everyone improve. What really stands out is the environment—they’ve built a space where people of all ages feel welcome. My daughter felt comfortable right away, which isn’t always easy to find in this kind of setting. She’s been training both gi and no-gi Jiu Jitsu, and it’s been a great way to complement her wrestling. There are also boxing and kickboxing classes, and it’s been great seeing how many teenagers are really thriving there instead of wasting time doomscrolling. They bring in guest instructors regularly too, which keeps things interesting and adds new perspectives. It’s a great place—not just for training, but for being part of a solid, supportive community

I had never practiced any martial arts before so was a bit skeptical, but was pleasantly surprised to see how supportive and patient the coaches are here. In particular I have worked with coaches Dallas and Joe, both are amazing with beginners and are happy to demonstrate and explain everything over and over again. Each sport has its risks but it's great to see that coaches here are always talking about safety and encouraging safe training. The flexible schedule of classes is great. Anyone looking to add a workout routine to their schedule or looking to gain a new skill should really drop by (free trial classes!).

Amazing welcoming gym. I had never done anything similar to MMA. The whole staff took the time to make sure I felt comfortable and confident. Definitely recommend to anyone new to the sport or looking for a positive environment to train and work with some great people.

We took a trial class at Rising Tide and I really appreciated everything about the experience. From the moment I expressed interest until after the class, everyone was attentive, responsive and really patient with my questions. My kids attended a free class and thought that Dallas was really kind and patient-neither one of them had done BJJ before so they were very tentative and unsure. He was reassuring and enthusiastic. The facilities were clean and welcome with a great waiting area for parents and lots of things to occupy yourself as you wait for your kids. Can’t recommend this place enough!!

This is the best place to learn and practice martial arts and self-defense. The instructors are knowledgeable, supportive, and create a safe and motivating environment. I had a great experience here and highly recommend it to anyone looking to build confidence, improve fitness, or learn valuable self-defense skills.

Genuine gem of gym. They offer a lot of different classes and programs to help make sure students have a great foundation and have fun while learning. The coaches are very approachable, caring, and knowledgeable and take the time to know each student individually. Whether you want to compete (MMA, BJJ, Kickboxing/Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling), get in shape, or just learn a new sport/skill I would definitely recommend checking this gym out!
